Wilton Manors Contamination of Drinking Water in 2015

Cities offer reports on the quality of your drinking water on an annual basis so you can know whether there were any contaminants in your water throughout the year and what was done about it. A certain level of contaminants is allowed and considered safe for most people, as long as the level doesn’t go beyond the maximum contaminant level, or MCL.

It’s important to be aware of your water’s condition and how it could potentially affect your household’s health. The yearly water report shows the level of a variety of contaminants that you can compare to the MCL for each one. Wilton Manors city water report for 2015 showed that it had a violation during the year.

These other contaminants can cause various health issues, including digestive cramps, diarrhea and nausea, as well as other symptoms. People who do not have a strong immune system may be particularly susceptible to these and other contaminants.

How to Deal With Water Contaminants

Nonetheless, the water can have contaminant levels that get close to the MCL throughout the year and that sometimes exceed it. If you have a compromised immune system for whatever reason, these Wilton Manors contaminants could pose an especially great risk to you.

Yet water is important for your body and your health. To keep drinking water and make sure it’s as clean as possible, you can take the extra step of running it through a reverse osmosis machine or another type of water-cleansing machine right in your own home.
